Festival Lent is one of the biggest festivals in Slovenia, held every year for the past 25 years. Amazing art performances, cultural exhibitions and sport events are taking place in the city squares, streets, courtyards, city parks and other cultural institutions. One of the main sponsors is Nova KBM, which is one of the biggest and leading Slovenian banks. They decided to promote their new product (»Paket komplet«) during the festival with the help of Selfiebox activation. The main goal was to collect user data, invite them to participate in a prize game, and give their existing and future customers a souvenir from the beautiful ArtKamp. We decided to build a »vertical picnic« scene, which was in the context of the venue, city park of Maribor. People were invited to lean on the background, creating an illusion of them lying on the ground and enjoying a picnic in the park. The place itself was also a place for kids to get sticker tattoos and for parents to sit and relax on deck chairs enjoying the nice atmosphere of the park. Together with the activation, a prize game was running by hosteses, collecting user data with the help of tablet computers. All the pictures were handed over to customers in branded folders, together with the unique code and instructions for digital access via custom designed landing page (selfiebox.nkbm.si). The Selfiebox itself, popup desks, beach flags, hosteses, mascot and operators were fully branded with custom made branding material.
